ABI Fall Research Symposium

The Arkansas Bioscience Institute will hosts its Fall Research Symposium Friday in Jonesboro, and INOV8 will be there.  We’ll update the blog and provide updates via Twitter as well.

The keynote speaker is Dr. John C. Peters, associate director of corporate research and development for Proctor and Gamble, whose topic of discussion will be: “Health Promotion in the 21st Century: Challenges and Choices.”

Other speakers will include Dr. Malathi Srivatsan with the Arkansas State University Department of Biological Sciences; Dr. Rosalia C.M. Simmen and Dr. Dana Gaddy of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Department of Physiology and Biophysics; Dr. Luke Howard, University of Arkansas Department of Food Science, and Dr. Josh Sakon, UA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

The symposium will take place at ASU’s student-union auditorium. In addition, a groundbreaking ceremony will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. for the ASU-ABI Commercial Innovation Center.
