Techpreneurship: Arkansas Startups That May Change the World

Well, when all my supposedly sage advice and clever Techpreneur insights dry up, I guess it may be time just to brag on some amazing Innovate Arkansas client companies that could change the world.  Just remember, you heard it here first….

Today, Innovate Arkansas is hosting a Northwest Arkansas Technology Venture Showcase luncheon that will feature short presentations from four very promising startups.  These get-togethers happen each month and alternate between Little Rock and NWA.  A different cast of aspiring Techpreneurs will be featured each month.

The main objective is to raise awareness within the angel-investor and business-leader ranks about what these startups are doing and how they plan to change Arkansas and the world….

So here are some companies to really keep an eye on over the next few years:

• MerchantView, www.mvretail.com:  These guys have an amazing merchandising management and automation solution that will remove significant inefficiencies in retail processes.  You may remember them from a couple of years back – they won the Donald W.
