Arkansas Patent of the Month: Far Out Stuff

Posted in Information Technology, Uncategorized, University Research by mcarter on December 3rd, 2009

It just dawned on us here at INOV8 that it’s December. Seems like there was no buffer between the Jack-o-lanterns and the Christmas lights. Which actually is fine with us. October through December is our favorite three-month stretch.

But man, how time flies. The older you get, the faster it moves. And it’s moving along at a pretty quick pace for us.

Which brings us back to November. Arkansas patents for November now are updated on the Innovate Arkansas site, and INOV8′s patent of the month for November is actually two patents. INOV8′s regular visitors likely are familiar with Space Photonics, the UA Genesis Tech Incubator firm that just landed a Defense Department contract.

Our November patents of the month belong to Space Photonics, and deal with optical communications. Really cool, far out (literally) stuff.

See the details here and here.
