The Arkansas legislature is preparing to kick off its inaugural even-numbered-year fiscal session.

What better way to dive in to the sea of non-tranquility that represents the inner workings of state government than with a Capsearch floatie?

IA client Capsearch is a web-based legislative research utility based in Little Rock that offers real-time information and analysis on the legislature and state government. The folks at Capsearch are offering a series of free training classes beginning Thursday that will bring current and potential subscribers up to speed on version 2.0 of capsearch.com and all the new bells and whistles therein.

Four sessions will be offered from 4-6 p.m. at the Arkansas Poultry Federation building at 321 Victory in downtown Little Rock beginning Thursday and recurring on Jan. 13, Jan. 25 and Feb. 1.
