UALR Research Scientists Featured in The Economist

We can admit when we’re late to the dance. And INOV8 was late to this dance, one that featured a good article from last fall on the nanotechnology research being done by none other than UALR.

The Economist ran this piece on the work of UALR’s Mariya Khodakovskaya and Alex Biris involving carbon nanotubes and their use in promoting faster food growth in certain situations.

It represents some nice recognition for UALR. After all, this groundbreaking (and some might say controversial) work, Economist readers were forced to note, was being done not on either of the U.S. coasts or in Europe, but right here in Little Rock.
