A new iPhone app developed in Little Rock enables military personnel to find contact information at more than 160 military bases in the U.S.
Bases is the new app created by Robert Blake of Little Rock firm Neutral Blue. It’s designed for active duty and retired military, Guard and Reservists, and can be used on both the iPhone and iPod Touch. The introductory price is just 99 cents.
“It’s easy to use for any age and has an outstanding interface compared to other apps in the Apple App Store,” Blake said in a Monday press release.
Information included in the app includes:
Neutral Blue teamed with Rocksauce Studios of Austin, Texas (we’ll forgive them their longhorn connection this time…) on the interface design.
Blake said Bases will prove to be a valuable tool for any active duty member transitioning to a new base, a retiree RVing across the country, or a Guard or Reserve member on vacation near a base.
“For the military community, Bases is a must-have app,” he said.
Here’s more on Neutral Blue from the release:
Over the years, the Neutral Blue team has helped many companies achieve success through their interactively results-driven websites. According to Blake, “Neutral Blue’s strategic move into the mobile device arena is an avenue to expand the company’s services by providing products which can simplify customers’ needs.”
