The PrivacyStar smartphone app has been named winner of the 2011 About.com Readers’ Choice Award for best Android app.

PrivacyStar provides Caller ID and allows users to lookup callers not in their address book, block unwanted callers, report Do Not Call Registry violators to authorities, and that’s not all, provides “capabilities focused on allowing users to take control of their mobile phone.”
