Google’s Chromebook Debuts This Week

Aside from launching six months later than expected, one big knock against Chromebook is that it requires Internet accessibility to operate. That could become a tough sell in a rural, wifi-challenged state like Arkansas.

Google Selects Trial City for High-speed Internet

Several cities in Arkansas applied to be chosen as the test city, including Mountain View. Unfortunately, the 1-gig-per-second fiber won’t be coming to Arkansas, at least not yet.
