BlueInGreen has developed technologies that provide oxygenation and ozonation of fresh water. The government is counting on the firm to adapt its techniques to salt water, providing much needed oxygen to areas of the Gulf impacted most heavily by the spill.

Oil and water really don’t mix very well. At this point, the clean-up may take a generation. From this great adversity, tremendous opportunity appears.

Innovation is widely courted as an economic driver, a jobs-creation engine. In the case of the massive Gulf oil spill and leak, innovation is being counted on as a major component to the remedy.
