UA economist Kathy Deck told the Quarterly Business Analysis breakfast on Friday that the recovery is going to drag on for a while longer.

The University of Arkansas’ Sam Walton College of Business will host its 16th-annual Business Forecast Luncheon on Jan. 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers.

She believes Arkansas has been comparatively insulated from the recession due to its local nature — Arkansans tend to serve themselves and their neighbors in greater proportion than other parts of the country.
