Hendrix Receives Grants for Technology Center, Research Equipment

A $600,000 grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation of New York will support the college’s Student Life and Technology Center, while a $275,000 National Science Foundation grant will enable it to purchase a new, 400 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer.

BlueInGreen to Help with Oil Spill Cleanup

BlueInGreen has developed technologies that provide oxygenation and ozonation of fresh water. The government is counting on the firm to adapt its techniques to salt water, providing much needed oxygen to areas of the Gulf impacted most heavily by the spill.
